Front end pop gone

About a year and a half ago I put new tires on the front of my 300d. Place had a sale going on B-stones touring and I was told they were as good as Michelins so like an idiot I went for it. I have always used 205 tires and did not notice till about a week later that the shop had put stock 195 size tires on the car. Should have looked closer. Soon after did a 1000 mile road trip and all of a sudden started hearing strange noises like poping, and other stuff I figured was lower ball joints or something in the front end. Had tires balanced many times due to vibrations, and pulling one way or the other. Got sick of all the BS and went back a few weeks ago and showed the strange wear on the left side with nothing on the right side. Same shop did 3 alingments in a year etc. Had them put matching Michelins 205-75-r 14 back and got a great credit on the POS b-stone tires. Now all the weird noise is gone, car tracks as it should, and it rides like it used to. I guess these cars like the 205 size tire and they put up a real fuss when they don't get them. Go figure
