Master brake cylinder hose location

Could somebody please send a picture or diagram, of where the hose from the master brake resevoir through the firewall and on the top (Someplace) the brake pedal ? The old hose was brittle and too short. Had to replace, have the angled nipple connecter, can't find the hole it goes into. GETTING FRUSTRATED MY HEAD STANDING ABILITTIES ARE GETTING LIMITED. thanks
