1991 W126 Interior Color Question...

Was there an interior leather color available called "Camel"??? or is the offical name of this color supposed to be Palomino

What color is this: Palomino or "camel"

and what color is this...Palomino or "camel"

or is it just the lighting which is making the colors look different. The 2nd pic I posted seems to be more "browny" in color than the first one

PLease help me confirm if these 2 pictures above are actually the same color interior or not and what hte proper color name of each of these interiors is.

also any confirmation as to whether or not a "camel" interior color was available would be of assistance towards me.

Thank You

'Sure looks identical to my Palomino. There's a darker one called, "Saddle".

Both of your phtos look like Palomino with different lighting to me. Saddle is significantly darker.

'Sure looks like Palomino to me. Do you have access to the car? 'Can't remember if # for interior is on data plate at radiator or the IBM punch card or both. I'll try to find mine.

This site has some code number info. that's helpful, but not inclusive (German-English for light tan isn't there, for instance, but "Brazil" is) :http://www.amcon-luxled.com/mbcar/polster.html

Look at the plate near the radiator, you will see the upholstry number. Then go to the amcon-luxled web site.
On this example, #178 is grey MB-Tex
Good luck,

My 81 300D (123) with MB-tex is # 134 (light tan/palomino). My 91 350SDL (126) with leather is # 264 (light tan/palomino).
The colors look alike.
