Does anybody know off hand if the manual transmssion from a 1984 190E will bolt up to an OM617?

Enquiring minds want to know.

greetings, I had entertained this very thought several months ago so i investigated at a picka part yard. I found a nice rebuilt 5spd 190e, jacked it up and looked underneath. It seems the one piece case/bellhousing doesn't match the 617 pattern, the obvious sign was that the starter opening is on the opposite side of the engine on the 190e I stopped right there and went to look for a 5 spd from a 123 chassis. I haven't given up on the idea of mating a T5 trans to a 240d bell housing etc. just haven't persued it. at this point I'm just having the driveshaft lengthened to finish my conversion of a 300dt to a 5pd.
