Help!!

Does anyone know how to disable the built in alarm on my 1987 300D. It is supposed to shut off when the key opens the door lock but it remains on. Everytime I open a door or the trunk the alarm activates. I disconnected the horn but the lights still flash.

Well, I figured this one out on my own. There is an alarm relay under the footrest on the passenger side. I disconnected the larger connection and the alarm stopped. I don't know what else I have affected, hopefully nothing, but everything seems to work ok. Lights, horn, etc.
