you can switch the back seats of a 123 into a 116 (240D's), all you need are a Sawzall, 4" metal grinder, large hammer, and a large crescent wrench (that's if you're like me and don't have big metric sockets yet) Don't do the cutting and grinding on the other seat! That's just to prop it up for the pict. Basically the corner needs to get cut off to fit the wheel well, which sticks more forward in the 115. If you do it right you can pull the cover off enough to get it out of the way before cutting. Didnt get that 'til the second cut. If somebody can help you hold the seat it's great. It's real light and slides around. This is the lower seat by the way. Then grind where the bumps contact the frame. Watch out for the aluminum clogging the grinding, overheating, and fracturing. I ground a brick in between seat grinds to clean it. Then a little light bashing with a hammer to dimple the seat frame for sliding past the seatbelt mounts. Don't bend the fore and aft struts on the frame (I tweaked one a little then knew to hold it to keep it in column during the bashing) Two people help here too. Loosen the belt mount bolts to help wiggle the seat by, and you're set. Better bashing might let you skip that. Then it's cut the lower corners on the seat back to fit, put in the sound blanket from your part car
and stick in your new seat for the 15nth time after all the fitting, and roll! There's a post on the fronts somewhere too.
