cruise control and air conditioner compressor question - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

All,
Just bought the 82 300D that was posted on the List from Jersey (thanks Zach) It looks like the cruise control dosen't work and the air conditioning compressor clutch is shot. Any ideas on what these parts cost and where I can purchase them? Anyone with good used parts out there? Gotta have both of those working to drive it home to Michigan. Thanks..,,

You did not say how long it is till you go back... but this might be something which would be better to do where you usually live.. if you are going to have a shop do it... then you would be there for follow up in case something needed correcting...
You could drive at night and sleep days on the trip... surely NJ to MI would be cool enough for that... LOL
Austin set a new all time August record yesterday 110.... and they showed 115 for Elgin.... I am just telling you this so you don't feel as hot if you decide to drive back without ac.... LOL

LOL!! Should be OK weather wise since it looks like September
before I can pick it up. I just oredered the "How to tune your diesel.." book from **************.com Looking forward to some reading and then tuning.
