scraping noise from rear of car?

At lower speeds, not associated with braking, but the pitch of the slight scraping noise does change with speed. Noticeable at 25 mph and under.
Wheel bearings?
Brakes dragging?

Check parking brake.

You might want to apply it while running at about 30 (make sure traffic is clear) while holding the release out a couple times, this will clear any rust off the drum.

If it is sticking, you will need to clean all the pivots, etc.

One reason to use it occasionally for parking on slopes is to keep all the bits moving independently so it won't drag when you DO use it!
