w210 e300 fuel vent?
I recently learned how to vent my TDI while refueling. It increased the total range considerably. Any way to achieve that same effect on the E300s or do you just have to fill her up reallllly slow?

Sure would be nice, but I don't know how to do it.
Kyle, here's what he's talking about: TDI Ventectomy

I believe MB actually has some reasoning behind filling the tank to a certain capacity. Something to do with space to handle vapor pressure which when too high (from overfilling) can affect engine performance as well as over stress other component. Sorry, I do not know enough on this one to offer more info. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Close, but not quite. They don't want us completely filling the tank because the fuel will most likely come out of a relatively cool underground storage tank. One in the car's tank, the fuel may be heated and expand in volume. The result when the tank is very full would be a fuel spill. Personally I don't worry about this since I almost always drive 20 miles or more immediately after a fillup.
