Leather
Hey, I was on a website http://www.gahhinc.com/
and I was looking at replacement leather. I looked at the leather colors for 1980 to present, and I did not find green listed as a leather color. It was listed as availible from 1955-1980 as a option, but my car is a 1981 300SD, and it has GREEN LEATHER, not MB-TEX!!! Is green leather rare in W126s, or in any post 1980 benz? I've included the best picture I could find with the interior. It's about 2 years ago, before I got the digital camera, it's a polaroid. :p -Joe

Green interiors were highly upopular in the US but not at all uncommon in Europe. In fact, a green interior in the US is usually a good sign that a car is a gray market car. However, if yours is a US car then perhaps it was a special order.
