The stop that keeps the car doors from opening too far is broken on my '82 240D. Anyone have a parts car that could be stripped or do you know where I can get one. It only takes about 2 minutes to remove it with a 10mm socket. Thanks for any help, BIG RON

You can get them at Fastlane. They are called a "check strap". If I remember right, about $20. If you don't want to go that way, let me know and I'll yank one for you.
