window motors
I have a 1983 300TD and my driver window doesn't work i've tryed and tested everything the switch, wire, motor it's all working the 2 leads running to the terminal strip on the door
reads about 12 volts and then you hook the motor up to the terminal strip it reads 00 volts the window motor runs perfect i tested it i just can't figure it out????HELP?????? |
Could the terminal strip where you hook the motor up possibly have a short in it? That's the only thing I can think of.....

**with both meter leads on the termainal block**
At the terminal block, there should be 0V when the switch is left alone and + or - 12V when you depress the switch, depending on which position you put the switch in. This is WITH the motor wires connected to the terminal block. |
