First update on my "new" 83 SD, torque on the spin on fuel filter bolt?

Success for the first round of maintenance. Replaced coolant, transimission oil, fuel filters, clean out the banjo bolt and vaccum line. Also replaced several rubber vaccum fittings as a preventative measure. The car starts on the first crank. No more smoke. The brake system seems weak. Will investigate and correct it before doing extensive test drive.

One question I have regarding the spin on fuel filter:
Fuel is sipping pass the big 22mm bolt head. I tightened it some more and it seems to reduce it quite a bit. I searched the topic and found one thread about it. Is there a final word about the sealing O-ring, metal sealing ring and torque spec?
I don't feel comfortable with all the torque applied with the big 22mm wrench.

Yes sometimes it takes uncomfortable levels of torque to seal it, not a bad idea to just buy new seal rings for it.
