Vin# next to window.......................
 
Where else are there ID #'s on a 300SD???????? I am looking at a parts car and the Vin tag looks like it was replaced. The rivet looks messed up. Just want to compare #'s to make sure the car isn't hot. Any input?????

It should also be stamped into the top of the firewall (the frontmost one) a little below the rubber weatherstrip.
