OEM Water Pump
Any experiences with Laso, Geba or Bosch brand OEM water pumps vs. Dealer Genuine MB brand?Thanks!

just replaced mine LASO type. be very careful removing the old water pump bolts. i would soak them with rusted bolt solution a couple of times before you attack this , i also purchased a metric tap & die set so i could clean out the threads when i got the bolts removed....

Thanks Bill.I did have a bolt break on tha other 300d.Wasn`t fun.Good idea on cleaning the threads!My other concern is using the Laso type or other oem brands as to whether they supply the same volume of water as the original MB pump for proper cooling??

I had my pump replaced 2 yrs ago with a Laso and it has kept my SDL cool for two Wash.DC summers. Before that, I went through 2 "MB" pumps.There are other threads on this subject. Good luck.
