Question finding out boost pressure?

ive heard alot about boost pressure, cranking you wastegate, 12psi, 15psi, 40psi (R Leo, lol). but how do know/find out what your boost pressure is?

all of you guys say how much boost youre running at, do all of you have boost pressure gauges?

and how do you crank the wastegate to boost pressure?

im wondering not because i want to do it, but because theres another threat about a possible vacuum leak in my car that might be hurting my boost.

i was thinking i could tell by checking my boost pressure however that is done.
