85 300sd shift problems...

im having a problem with my 1-2 shift point...at WOT,it only reaches 20mph and 3400 rpm before shifting...my thoughts are that it should shift at 30mph and at 4500rpm,or the same point all the other gears change....btw my car is an 85 300sd...heres a link to a thread i started yesterday...i figured i would post it here, and see what a tech thought...ALSO,first gear is the only affected gear, all others shift correctly

There is an adjustment on the valve body for first gear. Thats about all I can tell you without looking at one again. I have only used it once and that was on my 1984 928 Porsche which uses the same basic 722.3 trans.

The adjustment is called the full throttle control pressure adjustment. The picture is on the last page of document RA27.03-7-2204-00x

This can be viewed on the www.startekinfo.com site (I think)
