Diesel mystery from an '81 catalog...
Picked up a piece of nicely-illustrated dealer literature for the '81 diesels recently. It contained an interesting piece of data: that Mercedes diesels had some kind of gizmo (my term) which would adjust them appropriatly to suit the altitude at which they were operating.
Anybody else ever hear about or see this nugget? It would be of interest to owners in Denver and other high-up places were it true. |

Isn't that the non-turbo diesel version of the ALDA?

Only on the 300SD and TD. 300D and CD would be non turbo.

It's right there on the top of the back of the IP. Lot of good it does on a non-turbo at this altitude.
