sway bar bushings
 

Hi,

What are the signs that the front sway bar bushings are going bad? I get a clunk of sorts when going slow and turning sharply, or every once in a while when going over a bump. Car handles fine.

WHats involved with replacing the front swaybar bushings? I recall reading something about having to remove the brake booster and use a whole array of angled extensions and u-joints to get a ratchet in there. Is this so on the w123 or was that for another car?
