Slight Wobble 83 300CD
 

When I drop the car into reverse or drive and when I shut down the engine I feel a sort of short quick wobble. Bad engine / tranny mounts? Bad engine shcok absorber? There are just two engine mounts and one tranny mount right? The little shock absorber for the engine, it is available? Is my diagnosis correct?
Car's fine otherwise, 500 miles a week and no complaints.
Has 195,000 miles showing.

I would think you should replace your engine mounts (2) and your tranny mount (1). I just did it and it reduced the shaking. Still there is some, guess that comes with a diesel.

Engine shocks most likely. Replace the engine mounts when you do the engine shocks, they are probably shot also.
