Talking Yessssss

After 5 months of sitting in the driveway the SD is up and running again. A friend of mine came over and did the glow plugs we jumped it and after a couple tries it started right up. Soot was pounring out of the exhaust it was kinda funny. my mom came downstairs and said she couldn't believe what she was hearing and smelling. just had to share my joy

Cool!

I'm at the "diesel clouds and sorta hitting sometimes" stage with the Volvo, but I think I will be able to get it up and going soon.

It failed to start last winter on a very cold morning (shouldn't have even tried, I know it won't go well that cold) -- must have had a couple glowplugs out. Finally replaced them this week (five bad out of six!), so am now fighting low compression from dry rings.

Glad you are up and going!

Peter

Try a truck stop. RedLine makes a very good one, so does PowerService.
