Gold emblems?

Where can I buy the gold colored emblems for my 300SDL?
I need to replace a couple of the already exixting ones Turbo & Trunk star.

I do not want the 24K ones, just the gold colored ones.

Sincerely

Anders

Adsit used to sell trinkets like that. Maybe they still do. I think their website is www.adsitco.com or something close to that.

Do they only make them in real gold plating and not just gold colored ones???

It is pretty expensive to replace otherwise.

Sincerely

Anders

You could replace them all with the original chrome for a pretty modest sum. ...

I have found a gold plating business in Torrance. Will check if it is cheaper to replate the two emblems istead of buying new ones.

Sincerely

Anders

It is just that it originally was gold emblems on this particular car, and in order to make it look even I would have to change all emblems on the car...

Sincerely

Anders

If you must do gold, gold plating would be the way to go. Gold is a very durable metal that would look good for many years.

These ones has been on the car since-86, so I hope it will stay that way...

The replating of the emblems costs $30-$40/emblem. Expensive but not too bad, and it takes about one week before I would have them back.

Sincerely

Anders
