123 Alternator connection
I had to replace my alternator this week. The back of the Alternator (Bosch rebuilt) has two connector (looks like a grounding post, and a slotted connector next to the main wiring)
What if anything goes on these.

What was on the old one ? Was there just the single connector ? As long as the new and old alternators were the same I wouldn't worry about it .

I turned the old one in when I picked this one up. I don't really remember how it was wired, other than the main plug.

As long as it's charging OK it should be fine. Those could be test connections or ? My 123 has only the single connector on it , yours is probably the same style. The alternator case may also work with other models , which would account for the extra terminals.
