I really like the looks of the w 140, but I have read on this forum that the w 140 diesel's are horrible. How are the gassers and whats a good year for these cars? I like the s350d, but the things I have heard, scare me off.

Ok, now you asked that question in the wrong forum. But basically, the later the better. Buy the newest and best condition car you can afford. The first couple years had terrible problems with the front suspension and with A/C evaporators.
