Looks like my 300SD might go on the market
 

I have found another 300SD that will take me much less work to perfect. It is an 81 with a MINT Leather interior and service records since new. Needs a few body parts but i have another parts car (gasser) with a perfect body and the same color!! My car is listed in my sig. It drives great, Shifts perfect, Air works, Climate control works, No leaks, No dents, Needs paint and front end bushings. Interior front seats are rough but complete and power works. Vacume climate valves are leaking but i have them plugged and the defrost on manual control. Needs cloth covers on the door pillars. It is getting around 25mpg in town and 29 on the highway. Shows 190,000 miles but i have no way of confirming as the previos owner had passed on. Burns NO oil. What is a fair price to ask for my current car????$1000, $1500, $1750???

Where are you? Location and condition make all the difference when setting a sell price.

Sorry, Fixed my profile. The car is a Florida car. No rust but the sun has taken its toll on the paint.

If the air conditioner works and has not been converted to R134a, then I would say start at $2000.

Thanks, The A/C was redone about 2 yrs ago according to the reciept in the GB Not sure on the conversion though, It blows pretty cold compared to my 2003 Truck.

Looks like a $1,750 to $2,000 car. Pretty nice I think!
