My right lower ball joint was shot and started to make a squeaking sound. My mechanic replaced it, I was in the understanding that you need a special tool for it, that's why I didn't do it my self.

He charged me $189,- for the job, $45 parts and $140 labor, I have the feeling that I paid to much, or is this right?

I like to know because he is a great indy, but maybe a little too expensive for me.
