I just thought I'd mention that I was at Jaguar/Land Rover of Frederick today, and they have a silver 98 or 99 E300DT for sale. It has ~77,000 miles on it, with gray interior, not sure if it's MB Tex or Leather, as I didn't get into the car.

There is a bit of whitish-gray exhaust smoke at idle, and when someone took it on a test drive, it left a fairly substantial trail of whitish-gray smoke. At idle, the engine nails a bit... probably needs a healthy dose of diesel purge.

Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and didn't get a chance to ask any questions, take it for a drive, or look under the hood. I also don't know how much $$ they're asking.
