Question ALDA Question No Help?

I was looking over the car today and noticed that there was a linkage disconnected on the IP. The linkage runs from a plastic cylindrical valve behind the ALDA that had 3 or 4 vaccume lines running from it. The linkage connected to a spot on the IP between it and the block of the engine.

What is it and what will it change now that it's hooked up? The car ran fine before and I haven't driven it since I just hooked it back up.

Thanks,

Stephen

I think that you are talking about the device that meters vacume for the transmission modulator. This tells it how to shift depending on foot position.

Thanks

I drove the car to work this morning and I think you must be right.
The only thing that I noticed different is that it seemed to shift firmer. Also allows for more rpm's before shifting when foot is in it.

Thanks,
Stephen
