Pics are definitely handy, but counting on them alone could cause major problems later. I'm all for visual inspection when possible.

sure it's better in person
no duh, but we're here on the net man , not down the street... hehe
naturally eyeing stuff in person is the better way. if that's not possible due to the someone being in another state or country for that matter then pics and accurate pics are the way to clarify things. i think that is what whunter is on about. c'mon use those digicams y'all got!
