Please - torque specs on '99 E300 intake manifold and glowplugs!!?

Just finishing up the glowplug change on my 606.xxx '99 E300. Wondering the torque spec on the intake manifold bolts and the glowplugs?

Also my intake manifold gasket appears fully intact and perfect at 50k. Can I reinstall the manifold or do I need to scrape/replace it? Thanks!

I could not find those on the 124 CD, which has the E300.

I am in the same situation as the original poster and was doing a search for the intake manifold bolt torques, glow plug torques, and the possibility of using the original gasket. His original post never received an answer with the info. Does anyone else have this info? The only difference is that I am working on a '97 rather than a '99 (non-turbo vs. turbo).

Thanks in advance,
.....Dan

Wow, Terry! Thanks for the fast reply.

In summary, from a DIY article from LightMan:

- glow plug torque - 27NM
- intake manifold bolt torque - 20NM
- reuse of old manifold gasket - not advised - in LightMan's article he uses a new one

Someone also posted a NM to ft pounds conversion link. If I come across it, I will edit this post to add it as a tool for others.

Edit: here is an online conversion tool for NM to ft lbs. -- http://iconvert.meatarian.co.uk/

Thanks again, Terry!

Not sure which manifold gasket you have on your 97. Mine is metal; not designed to be reused.

While its apart get new seal rings for the crossover pipes.
