How much for timing chain?

Hi Guys !
My INDY call for timing chain replacement $700 on 97 E300D.
230k.on it. in CA.For me is little pricey...what You think?

Thanks for RE. I am not experienced DIY.Change oils,brake pads etc.Problem is lack of time ,commute 5.5 hours a day +O.T,
I can pay it if is worth it.INYDY said so also valves must be adj.+tensjoner.How much time it will consume?iI Think He charge $85 per hour

not bad price

if it is done correctly, the price is not bad.
But if it is hacked, you could spend three times that trying to get it fixed...
