How much for timing chain?
Hi Guys !
My INDY call for timing chain replacement $700 on 97 E300D. 230k.on it. in CA.For me is little pricey...what You think? |

Thanks for RE. I am not experienced DIY.Change oils,brake pads etc.Problem is lack of time ,commute 5.5 hours a day +O.T,
I can pay it if is worth it.INYDY said so also valves must be adj.+tensjoner.How much time it will consume?iI Think He charge $85 per hour |

not bad price
if it is done correctly, the price is not bad.
But if it is hacked, you could spend three times that trying to get it fixed... |
