UPGRADED to clear corners (Pictures)

It was a 15 minute job, very easy and I LOVE the way they look. They really blend well with the clear euros and bring out a lot of the chrome accents. check them out. only $35 too!

here the hazards on flashing on, so you can see the yellow bulbs better, they ARE drowned out a little by the sun.

But seriously, the car looks great Eric. Did you get all the rust repair work finished?

Hey Eric, nice upgrade... love the look of them with the black grille insert. All the little details youve worked on have come together nicely. Where are pics of your seat piping!!!!

I've seen two types of clear turn signals for W123's:

1. Completely clear
2. Clear with an orange "bulb hat" so the lamp blinks orange even with clear bulbs

If you have the first type, you can take some amber bulbs and mist them with high temp silver paint, so the lamp will be completely clear when off, yet still light up amber.

here are a couple more.

thanks nate!

Rick, the rust was treated and refinished and painted. it may be back already, i see a little lump. it is either an imperfection or rust. the rust under the passenger seat still exists. im buying this POR15 stuff that fills gaps until I get it fixed. I am driving peyton from NC to CA in two weeks, so there's not time to replace a floorpan.

VWBug, the plates are custom and cheap, and authentic. Talk to Alex at this website http://www.grtpl8s.com/, tell him Eric sent you.

speedy, i have the 100% clear ones, ill think about the bulb painting.

I don't really care for the clear lights but I LOVE the rest of the car!

BTW, the black grille looks great with a dark body paint. With pastel grey, I could never get away with it.

Peyton, what's the other car you've got in the garage? I am always interested in what 'other' cars people own.

Eric

The clears look great. I think better than the smoked ones would have looked...nice job.

I also like that you darkened the grill insert, I was so happy with how that turned out on mine, and on the estate it looks great too.
A nice "for those that know what to look for" finish.

Jake
