just in case hose repair kit
Hi,
I am curious... it seems to me that it might be smart to put together a hose repair kit which includes: short length of small copper pipe short length of big copper pipe 2 small hose clamps 2 big hose clamps This way, if there was even any trouble with a hose in the car, they could be cut and spliced together in such a way to allow safe driving for many more miles until a suitable replacement could be done. I just need to know what the diameters of the large hoses and smaller heater hoses are (Id guess there is one size for the large ones and one size for the small ones, right?). Thanks in advance, JMH

Yes, carried one for years.
A cell phone is safer, on Detroit highways.
In open country it is still a great idea.
