1984 300TD Wagon looking for tailgate in Washington State
 

I am looking for a non rusty, non dented tailgate for my wagon. Would appreciate any leads anyone might have on a good tailgate.

Thanks I tried them both but neither of them have a tailgate for me. Any other suggestions. I'm willing to go as far as Portland Oregon for it.

Sorry those didn't work out for you Manny. I've heard it through the grapevine that those two outfits control most of the MB market along the I-5 corridor in WA, with a third place in Portland picking up the rest of the NW. I think it's called John's import auto, or something like that. Other than that, I think you'll just have to hunt out stray wagons in all the little yards--a bit of a needle in a haystack.

Hi Zeitgeist, I really appreciate your help on this. Thank you. Mercedes Source had two of them and I picked up the better one of the two, No rust or dents!! The one left there that I didn't take is in good condition but had a little bit of rust. BTY I now have a tailgate for sale, that is my old one which does have a few minor dents and a bit of rust but is repairable for $150 if you know anyone?? I can email jpegs to anyone that is interested.
