81' 300SD Hedwig 216,974 and counting...

Count me in with a 84 300 sd 260 000 miles. Put a greasecar kit in it last july. Great cars but any car that has lived its life in the northern half of the US and is 20 years old should get a prize.

1979 300SD, Orient Red, CA "blue plate" car purchased from original owner in East Bay San Francisco, all original w/ exception of hood repaint and Kenwood stereo, 122,XXX miles.

Just bought my first MB last week. 1979 300SD converted to run SVO. So glad to have this resource as I embark on my improvements (new radio, sticky door handle, squishy seats, the list just grows and grows)

I'm the second owner of a 1981 Blue 300SD with a Tan interior; she's got about 220k on her.

Yes - I also have one; 1981 300 SD with presumably less than 200k miles (odometer broke at 138k). I've owned it since Feb '05 and am scared to post a picture (as she's gotten a severe FL sunburn ).

1981 300SD, silver/black. Love it at 232,000 miles... great old car!

I've got two.

Drive the silver one every day.
The yellow one is waiting to get some time on the lift so that I can install an engine. Hopefully it will clean up good enough that the wife will quit driving the van.

85 300SD, just turned 300k, love it to death in spite of it's quirks.

Got an 85 300sd... Will post ugly pics soon. She's a deer magnet and,,, my son used the door and a tree to stop it once! Still running though with somewhere over 300,00 miles (odometer not working,,,, yet)

my 83, its slow in the city, stinky on diesel, but it purrs on the highway and rides like its suspension is made of soft clouds
