mb's diesel rightous car!

Well it's been about 2 month's since I bought the "ebay special", a 83 CD turbo. What an asome car!. Here's my twist on MB's: I have owned a 91 CE for about 6 yrs. nice car with all its gadjets etc. However if I had to choose which car to keep it would def. be the 300cd turbo, over the gasser!!. Its such a comfortable car, seats more comfortable, driving pos. better, etc. The creature comforts are nice with the W124, but the W123 is a much better car!, much more fun to drive, actually seems classier?? Ya, the CE is alot faster but who needs it, its just so cool to drive down the interstate at 65 to 70 & still get 25 mpg, instead of the premium fuel needed for the gasser!. Amazing that an old car worth a 1/4 of the ce's, with over twice the miles, with a tacky int, that I would prefer to drive this diesel over the flashy 300 series!. I am hooked on these diesel's, I even think they smell good, (I know I'am whacked), I might be willing to trade my very nice CE for a low milage turbo coupe, in pristine cond.
