It's a little bit far for me to drive for parts, but they're fun to hear about. Keep it up.

Our local pick and pull occasionally has an 'all you can carry' special for $29.99. There is a specified course over which you must carry it. About thirty feet. I've watched guys use wheelbarrows to bring up a big stack of parts. They then attach the parts to each end of a 4x4 and have their strongest buddy get in the middle of it and stagger the 30'. One day I saw a guy with an engine block on one end and a couple of trannies on the other. He made it thru the course and got a hell of a bargain.
The chiropractor bills may finally catch up to him.

Sounds like another episode on Fear Factor. Ha, I'd love to have seen that one!

My greatest accomplishment was carrying a rear 300D subframe, including the half axle, brake disc and caliper assy, from a wrecking yard out to my vehicle (a 300TD). A couple of aspirin was necessary by the time I got it home (don't believe in chiropractors).
