Conversion progress.

Hello,
How is everyone?
I am in the middle of converting my newly acquired 240d into a 5 cyl turbo with 722.315 auto tranny.
I recently corresponded with several people and decided to completely and fully do the conversion properly by replacing everything to make it (driveline wise) identical to a 300d. This car I believe is worth putting money into, so the total acquisition cost, car, motor, tranny, etc will be about 1400 bucks.
I think it's worth it, but like someone else has said, "a cheap fixer-upper Mercedes is the most expensive Mercedes you'll ever buy" . Might be true to some extent. But, I'ts fun, and what price can you put on that?
Thanks, Adam Bush
