Dinner, Dallas, Friday, June 4, 6:15PM, West End, Sonny Bryans

Anyone and everyone that can join us at Sonny Bryans Barbeque in the Dallas West End District on Friday evening, June 4th. please let us know and plan on being there.

If you can't make it at 6:15, no problem, just straggle in when you can. Bring wives, kids, aunts, uncles or Grandma. The more the merrier.

All we need is an approximate headcount so we can get enough seats.

The occasion is the Suginami (Paul) will be in town and we always try to use this as a reason to treat him to some good ol' Texas hospitality.

Be there or be square!

Have a great day,

Yes, the one on Lovers Lane is still there. There are now several others as well. If you haven't been to Dallas in a long time, the Dallas West End district is now a night life area. It is just North and within walking distance of the infamous School Book Depository.

Wish you guys could join us. Don't you have any frequent flyer miles built up?

We'll have an extra spoonful of relish in your honor.

Have a great day,

Sonny:

Wasn't the original in and old Dairy Queen on Inwood. Close to Parkland and Pres. Hospitals?

Okay, here's what we do. Cash in some frequent flyer miles, get tickets, I'll pick you guys up at the airport, and we'll research the history of Sonny Bryans while at one of their facilities.

Wish you could make it,

Larry,

This is torture... Karma says you'll lock your keys in your car for this.

Okay then, you guys from the Sunshine state, pool your frequent flyer miles, odd man out for the winner. The winner then flies in for the dinner and gets take out to bring back to everyone else.

The takeout goes in the trunk on the way back to the airport though. I don't allow any smell except leather and Neetsfoot oil in the interior of my car.

See you there,

Question Hmmm...............

I'm thinkin that this would be cool, but I have to be in Dallas on Friday the 18th......not sure if I can do that trip twice in a single month.......

Hmmm..........

This is a rough decision.......

Gonna be right down the road from the west end too......Wyndham Anatole hotel.....across from the world trade center...

Hmmmmmm

Fuzzball,

Keep in touch. If Dave Morrison is out of town for the 4th., we may get together againl. If the 18th. can work for him, maybe we can do it again. No promises, we'll just see how schedules fit together.

Let us know,

Larry -

Good to see your posts here recently.

The a/c gets ice cold--usually between 35 and 40 degrees at the vents (and on the highway)--but the compressor is rather loud and clattery.

My latest improvement is sound deadening in the floorpans...

Well, I'll be there, schedule permitting as the work schedule hasn't been posted yet for that time frame.
