Not to hijack this thread, but. Larry when you have this completed please post the results and part numbers for us. I just got a spare SLS valve that I am going to rebuild on rainey days. When I am finished, whether it works or not, I will post here.

I pull a small boat trailer with my '85 300D and with 100 or more pounds of trailer tongue weight my rear end was sagging.
I installed rubber spring coil fillers from JC Whitney. They raise the rear end only a little, but when the trailer is on, the rear end is now near normal. I used 2 in each coil, four total. If your springs are now overly collapsed this might be a quick and easy fix. Bruce McCreary |

Sorry I've sold the leaky shocks to a guy in PA who is buying up 123 car and parts on e-bay.... I'd love to know about rebuilding them for when that time comes for my other 123 wagon.
