I Have A Project On The Board To Rebuild These Hydrolic Shocks,i Have Found The Repair Parts And Need Some Defective Units To Rebuild And Test. So Could You Supply Me The Ones You Have Removed?
I Hope To Write A Proceedure And List The Parts Needed To Completely Reseal These Units.

Not to hijack this thread, but. Larry when you have this completed please post the results and part numbers for us. I just got a spare SLS valve that I am going to rebuild on rainey days. When I am finished, whether it works or not, I will post here.

I pull a small boat trailer with my '85 300D and with 100 or more pounds of trailer tongue weight my rear end was sagging.

I installed rubber spring coil fillers from JC Whitney. They raise the rear end only a little, but when the trailer is on, the rear end is now near normal.

I used 2 in each coil, four total. If your springs are now overly collapsed this might be a quick and easy fix.

Hate to say it guys, I've already 86'ed my SLS system. I used plain air shocks from Napa to the tune of $68 for both ($129 retail cost, just the good fortune of working for an independent shop

). It's involved a fair bit of welding... I'll post pictures ASAP on MY THREAD

Sorry I've sold the leaky shocks to a guy in PA who is buying up 123 car and parts on e-bay.... I'd love to know about rebuilding them for when that time comes for my other 123 wagon.
