I read an article on Yahoo on diesel emmisions, and I came across this post by some guy who hates Mercedes Diesels, and his reasoning is bad. It takes alot to make my blood boil, and this does it. This makes my blood boil almost as much as racist insults do.

I see what you mean. That message board has now turned into an anti-Clinton, anti-Bush, anti-EPA, anti-Mexican, anti-big rig, anti- obese people thread within ten minutes. Too many idiots, not enough villages...

I use Howes additive in my diesel fuel, regularly perform Diesel Purge to keep the injectors clean and adjust valves every 30k km. The result: hardly any smoke. IMHO, it's a neighbourly thing to do.

I try to avoid following smokey diesel vehicles and I believe everyone here does the same thing. Less smoke = cleaner air, period.
