Are there O-rings on the lines of the reciever/dryer?

I am fixing up my ac on an 87 SLD. It seems like most of the AC pressure lines have o-rings where they meet components.

When I took off the old reciever/dryer, it didn't seem to have any orings on the line coming from the condensor or the line going to the evaporator.

Does this seem right?

I put it back together, using nylog, and it holds vac.

The pages in the shop manual don't seem to indicate o-rings on these connections, though they seem to have them everywhere else (like on the temp and pressure switches).
