There is one thing on this thread I haven't heard...
Warrentee. I remember someone with a W126 which had the lines replaced with OE lines. Well, mercedes didn't get it crimped correctly and he as in the dealership with a burnt up motor. Dealership, under warrentee installed a low-mileage engine from Potomac Mercedes dismantlers. You can make lines, have the hydraulic guys build them, etc etc.. but you won't get much satisfaction if they blow. I've but them in several W123's and figured factory was the way to go- great fit, warrentee and the price wasn't bad. Not to say other solutions won't work, but when I looked at the long term, my time etc... it seemed like like the way to go. Michael
