There is a 240D advertised as a 1986 model in the Autotrader. I don't think there actually were any made in 86, most likely this is a 84 or 85 Euro. Looks like mine except for the headlights. Same color even. From the picture it looks like it's at some kind of tote-the-note used car lot. I have no interest in this car, but I imagine somebody might want to grab it for the 5 speed.

Age and cunning will always over come youth and vigor.

There are two versions of the wheels that take wheel covers - one steel and one alloy. But it is doubtful that the seller knows that. In fact, given all the other errors in that ad, I wouldn't be surprised to find a 4 speed in there.
