300sd :)

I couldn't resist it
I bought a 300sd for my wife ( so far i love the little Panzer)
Drives nice, little puffs of black smoke when you give it full WOOT.
414k km 1000$ can peanuts
Needs a little bit of loving
And i need a little bit of help finding parts
so far i need 2 window electrical motors
1 seat electrical engine ( the one that move the seat back and foward looking fast all the 3 seat engines looks the same ).
The brakes need to be changed i'll do it this week.

My dash has no light but that might be another problem because when the lights are opened i signal with the brake lights...

Might just be the bulb for the dash ( is it hard to change or to take apart the dash ?)

Regards

92300SE and everyone else lets at least have the courtesy to support the sponsor of this board. Beside their prices are just as good if not better than the ones mentioned above. Push FASTLANE button below or at the top of every page in this forum.

PS. NO I DONT WORK THERE. Im just thankfull for all the advice I've gotten thru this forum so they've earned my money.

Sorin,

No dashlights could be a bad dimmer rheostat.

Dash slides out to the rear. You might have to make 2 clips to slide in at each side of the instrument panel to pull it out.

Best to verify the electric seat motor is really the problem before replacing it. That seat switch often goes first. Sometimes the plug to it gets loose, sometimes the internal contacts get corroded.

Only manual I've ever found is one on CD:

http://www.peachparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=msps1&Product_Code=P-2700-126-099

You can also get them thru a dealer, for about the same price.
