300D Will Not Start When Hot
 

My 92 300D will not start when hot. I have to wait 3-4 hours before I can start it again. Any ideas?

When you describe no start .... will the "starter" turn the
engine over? (without an "ignition")

OR... when you turn the key... NO ROTATION OF THE ENGINE?

#2. STARTER.

ADJUNCT: some BOSCH starters are "No New Parts" models
(take them apart, blow them out,replace "brushes",and
MOTOR ON.)

Thanks for your reply. The starter turns as normal. The engine does not catch. There is no sign at all of any ignition and after it cools off, I have to hit the accelerator to give it fuel to start.
