Right now I'm going to pass on it but wow, what a car..it does have under 70k original miles..the current owner got it from his aunt (the original owner) 2 years ago with 25k on it. I couldn't examine it too closely since it was locked but the oil pan had the original paint with no chips...the guy says you can eat off the engine and I'm inclined to believe him. White with immaculate grey leather interior..the only seat that looked like it had ever been sat in (barely) was the driver's and the gauges and needles literally jumped out at you from the dash with that bright orange fluorescent color. New tires and updated Mercedes wheels..Unfortunately, the car was recently repaired from a rear-end collision...new trunk lid and paint all around from the rockers to the tops of the fenders. There's some waviness in the rt rear door and a couple of other small areas so I'm not sure exactly how hard it was hit or the quality of the repair. The trunk lid is also recessed @ 1/4 " from where it should be althought the gaps around it are even. If it was untouched, I would have paid him just what he wanted for it but for now, I'll keep looking for a replacement for the 84 300CDT with 350+K on it..besides, if it hadn't been hit, I doubt if it would be up for sale (although it would make a perfect highway road warrior machine for 10-15 years)
