Smoking from tailpipe help pl
 

I have a 87 turbo diesel . the turbo quit working first so checked it couldnt find much at first. Now it is smoking so i took it sorta apart. I couldnt get the turbo out but did see a lot of oil in the turbo intake. Where is it comming from? I found that the waste gate vacume line broke off. now it seems the turbo is getting oil soaked and i still cant get the thing off. Any help or iceas at this time would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a seal to your bearings on the turbo gave way.

Can i get these seals at MB? dont think i can at the local auto parts store?

I don't know for sure for your car...
for the 617 turbos several sites have been discussed and feedback about their rebuild kit has been posted. A couple are in Texas....
