Best way to store injectors for a long time

What is the best way to store injectors from a 1984 diesel?

Should I soak them in clean engine oil before I store them?

Injector Storage:

Soak them in Dexron. Which is Tranny fluid. This or Power Service is what Injector shop leave in their. So when you get them there is a red oily film on them.
