Rear ended, motor mount bracket cracked.

On Friday my car was hit in the rear at maybe 5 to 8 mph. I got the drivers name, address, phone number, license plate etc. We didn’t notice any damage at the scene so I didn’t bother to get insurance info. When I got home and looked closer I noticed this buckle in the left quarter:

Took it to a body shop and they said the frame has to be pulled back for a total of $900. Then today I look under the hood and see this:

The motor mount bracket is broke. There was no visible damage to the front of the other drivers car and we didn’t see any on mine so I can only imagine that the driver will say something to the effect that the bracket was like that or that it’s just a small dent and it was probably there before. I’ll get a second estimate Tuesday before contacting the driver but what should I be saying or asking? I only have liability anyway on my car so I don’t want to bother my insurance company and have an inquiry notice on my policy.

Hmmm

Year, make, model, miles would help....
From the look, I would fix it, even if I had to pay.
